Introduction and scope of application
This Privacy Policy provides information on the processing of personal data carried out through the websites www.menorcaventura.es – www.taxiboatmenorca.com, as well as on certain processing related to the provision of contracted services when it is necessary to inform the customer or visitor.
This policy has been drafted in a way adapted to the actual activity of the company: reservations, rentals, excursions, nautical services, operational communications, payments, images, GoPro Cloud, commercial communications, cookies, social networks, candidacies and incidents. It does not include unconfirmed treatments such as forums, user accounts or publication of testimonials.

The company does not process health data on an ordinary basis. In the event of an accident or emergency, only the minimum information necessary to deal with the situation, manage insurance, claims or comply with legal obligations will be processed.

Operational WhatsApp and commercial communications
By providing a phone number, the company may use phone, SMS, email or WhatsApp for necessary communications related to the reservation or activity: confirmations, schedules, location, weather conditions, changes, cancellations, incidents or coordination of the service. This use does not imply the sending of advertising.
The sending of commercial communications by email, WhatsApp or other electronic means will only be done when it has been requested or authorized, or when the regulations allow communications about similar services with the possibility of unsubscribing in each communication.
6. GoPro photos and videos for customer download
During certain activities, photos and videos may be captured with GoPro cameras or other similar devices and made available to participants via link, digital download or enabled platform, including GoPro Cloud.
This processing is for the purpose of providing a souvenir of the activity to customers and is not equivalent to authorizing the promotional use of the image. If the activity is shared, others in the same authorized group may access the link and download images of individual or joint participants.
Links should not be shared outside the authorized group. The images will be kept for the time necessary for downloading and service management, unless there is an incident or complaint.
7. Promotional use of images
The use of identifiable images or videos on the web, social networks, brochures, posters, presentations, corporate videos or promotional material will only be made with specific authorization. Refusal to authorize this use does not condition the provision of the service. Consent may be withdrawn at any time by writing to info@menorcaventura.es.
8. Minors
When minors participate, the hiring, authorizations and consent for images must be provided by the mother, father, guardian or legal representative, when necessary. The company will apply special caution in the use of images of minors and will avoid unnecessary treatment.
9. On-site video surveillance
ACTIVA’T GESTIONS 2016 S.L. has video surveillance cameras in certain areas of its facilities for security purposes of people, goods, material, boats, accesses and customer service areas. This treatment is not part of web browsing, but it is reported in this policy because it is linked to the face-to-face activity.
The main information on video surveillance is provided by means of an informative sign visible before accessing the recorded area and by means of additional information available in the establishment. The images shall be kept for a maximum period of 30 days, unless they must be kept to prove facts affecting persons, property or facilities.
10. Recipients and data processors
The data will not be disclosed to third parties unless required by law or when necessary for the provision of the service. They may access the data, as appropriate:
- tax, accounting, labor or legal management/advisory services;
- banks, payment gateways and billing providers;
- providers of web hosting, e-mail, reservations, computer maintenance and digital tools;
- WhatsApp/Meta, GoPro Cloud and other technology providers required for the reported services;
- insurance companies, emergency services, Security Forces and Corps, courts, tribunals or public administrations when appropriate.
11. International Transfers
The use of tools such as WhatsApp, GoPro Cloud, social networks, Google services, hosting, email marketing, maps, videos or other online tools may involve processing by providers located outside the European Economic Area. In such a case, the safeguards provided by the GDPR, such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses or other valid mechanisms, shall apply.

13. Rights of the persons concerned
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, deletion, opposition, limitation of processing, portability and withdrawal of consent by writing to info@menorcaventura.es, indicating the right you wish to exercise and providing proof of identity when necessary.
You can also file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency: www.aepd.es.
14. Security measures
The company implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against loss, unauthorized access, alteration or misuse. These include, among others, access control, personnel confidentiality, supplier management, limitation of data processed and retention for appropriate periods of time.
15. Cookies and social networks
The website may use technical, preference, analytical, measurement or third-party cookies, as indicated in the Cookies Policy. Interactions made on social networks are also governed by the privacy policies of each platform.
16. Policy changes
ACTIVA’T GESTIONS 2016 S.L. may modify this Privacy Policy in order to adapt it to regulatory, technical or organizational changes. The current version will be the one published on the website.
